    Dear Faculty and Staff Members,

I hope you enjoyed a good break and that you’re ready to take on 2016.

Each semester brings new challenges and opportunities. This one is no different.

During the holiday, Dr. James Henderson was selected to serve as Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs of the University of Wisconsin System.

Jim graduated with a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. From our experience, we know that the UW System will benefit greatly from his leadership.

Great Start to the Fall Semster

    Dr. Joseph Savoie -- Fri, 09/18/2015 - 11:45am

    Dear Faculty and Staff,

The new year is off to a tremendous start. The energy on campus is palpable.

We welcomed our largest freshman class, and I might add, our brightest, too. The freshman class has 3,179 students, which represents a 9 percent increase over last year. Our overall enrollment for the Fall 2015 semester is 19,033. I would like to thank the Enrollment Management staff for its efforts and congratulate everyone who supports student recruitment.

We also welcomed more than 270 new faculty and staff who have joined our community.
