    Prepared to Meet This Moment

    Dr. Joseph Savoie -- Fri, 03/13/2020 - 1:18pm

Dear students, faculty and staff members,

As you know, the University has made the decision to begin remote course delivery on Wednesday, March 18.

We are able to move to alternative delivery methods because we have in place a comprehensive plan and the technological infrastructure to ensure continuity of instruction. By offering courses through Moodle and other means, we’re attempting to minimize large gatherings and reduce the time students and faculty spend in close proximity to each other.

    COVID-19 Update

    Dr. Joseph Savoie -- Fri, 03/06/2020 - 8:31am

Dear students, faculty and staff members,

Earlier this week, a team of University personnel met to discuss COVID-19, or coronavirus, and to outline how UL Lafayette would respond should it affect our community.

It’s important to note that there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Louisiana.

Nevertheless, because the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff remains the paramount concern of the University, preparation for any eventuality is key.

New QEP an Historic Step for UL Lafayette

    Dr. Joseph Savoie -- Tue, 01/21/2020 - 3:08pm

Dear students, faculty and staff members,

UL Lafayette will host peer reviewers from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges on Feb. 10-13. The University has spent the past several years preparing for this visit and for the wider reaccreditation process of which it is a part.

Reaccreditation occurs every 10 years, and the University community never fails to rally to this all-important undertaking. I want to thank everyone who went above and beyond their usual duties and responsibilities to ensure the success of this process.
